Volunteers are the
core of Junior Achievement's impact in the classroom. Whether work
or home-based, or studentsthemselves, volunteers share valued
life perspectives that illustrate the importance of education.
For one or two semesters per year,
you as an individual can take your place in the classroom as a
role model teaching a JA class. You can choose the grade
level and even the class location by selecting a school close to
your home or office. A company can create a partnership with
JA, lending multiple business volunteers. "Team Teaching"
accommodates business volunteers who travel. Parents and
even college students can teach elementary JA classes.
