JA Teacher of the Year Nomination


For the past several years, Junior Achievement of Dallas, Inc. has recognized an outstanding teacher, as well as a volunteer and a student of the year.  JA Volunteers can nominate a teacher who has made a significant contribution to delivery of the Junior Achievement program during the past year. The criteria for nomination are:

  • Hosted a JA volunteer in their classroom during January 2008 – December 2008
  • Encouraged students’ learning of JA concepts
  • Contributed to the success of Junior Achievement students beyond the regular JA lessons or the classroom

The recipient will be honored at Junior Achievement of Dallas' 2009 Dallas Business Hall of Fame, in April 2009.

Nominations will be received for classes taught in Spring 2008 - Fall 2008 until Friday, January 16, 2009. The winner will be notified in March 2009.
