The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon is a
Dallas tradition; it’s a great time and an important fund-raiser!
Five person teams bowl for prizes, fun, and kids’ futures.
Teams choose from various shifts to bowl at area bowling alleys
such as AMF Richardson, 300 Dallas, and Strikz, among others.
Companies, employees, friends, family,
co-workers, and individuals bowl and raise money for JA.
Teams bowl 2 games and pay a registration fee that
includes all of their expenses.
Each bowler collects pledges from anyone to everyone.
Enjoy an afternoon at the lanes getting to
know your co-workers and networking with other area Dallas companies while
having a great time winning prizes, answering trivia questions, competing in
crazy contests and raising money for the economic education of area
children.
Why Bowl for the kids of
Northeast Texas?
While you enjoy
an afternoon at the lanes getting to know your co-workers and networking
with other Dallas-area companies, you will have a great time winning prizes,
answering trivia questions, competing in crazy contests and raising money
for the economic education of area children.
You will be
joining a team of very important people who are helping students in north
Texas. Last year, the $210,000 raised during the Bowl-A-Thon helped
enable Junior Achievement of Dallas provide business education classes to
more than 40,000 students at no cost to the students or the school
districts. Your fundraising efforts will help those kids see the
importance of an education and prepare them to be productive, contributing
members of our community and workforce.
How can I win prizes?
Prizes and gift certificates are
awarded based on dollars collected and submitted to Junior Achievement on the day you bowl.
Prizes will be awarded to each person who qualifies based on his
or her fundraising efforts.
