The Student, Teacher, Volunteer and Volunteer Coordinator of the Year awards have been created to honor and recognize outstanding individuals for their commitment and dedication to fulfilling the purpose and mission of Junior Achievement.

Teacher and Volunteer of the Year Awards are based on a nomination process and recipients must meet the required criteria. Nominees will be asked to provide a narrative regarding their JA experience. Winners will be chosen by a committee of members of the JA Board of Directors and former recipients of the award.

The Student of the Year will be chosen through an essay-writing contest as well as meeting the criteria. A panel of judges will review the student essays and select the winner.

Recipients will be honored at the 2011 DALLAS BUSINESS HALL OF FAME.
