We are now offering a variety of FREE virtual experiences and programs. Request a particular program or find out more information by speaking with our education team.
JA Career Speakers Series (K-12)
This program gives entrepreneurs and volunteers from various professions a platform to describe their journey through the business of life. The 20 - 30 minute presentation may be live or pre-recorded and will focus on steps, education, and even mistakes experienced by volunteers on their personal and professional path. Pre and Post student assignments are available.
JA Job Shadow (8-12)
Targeted for both middle school and high school students; JA Job Shadow will provide students with an inside look at what it is like to work at several of our sponsoring companies. Students will be engaged in a pre-recorded video tour of the company followed by a spotlight on selected employees and their job roles. Students may complete the virtual experience with a live Q&A session, resume-writing, mock interviews, etc as determined by the company.
JA Launch Lesson Live-Stream (Grades K-12)
Available for elementary, middle, and high school students; this program will be live-streamed via YouTube. Three volunteers will spend 15 minutes each describing their personal and professional journey targeted toward the age/grade level of the attending students. The presentation will be followed by a 15 minute live Q&A.
JA Full Semester Courses (9-12)
JA now offers full semester virtual courses to be taught by teachers with volunteer subject matter experts as guest speakers. The courses are 16-18 lessons and are complete with student assignments and assessments. Program subjects include: JA Business Communications, JA Entrepreneurial Mindset, JA Financial Literacy I & II, JA Intro to Technology I &II, and more!
JA Learn & Earn App
JA Learn and Earn is a brand-new app, created by the founders and engineers that helped to build and launch Acorns, the fastest growing micro-investing app in the country. This app allows middle and high school students to learn financial literacy skills anytime, anywhere, in a fun and engaging gaming experience. The JA Learn and Earn App is available for free in the App Store and Google Play Store.
