BOLD empowers female, high school students through a transformative learning experience that inspires them to dream big, prepares them to succeed in the next phase of life. BOLD girls will connect with professional women and will feel empowered, EMBOLDENED and LIMITLESS!

October 5, 4-5 PM : Session 1: How Do You Make Career Possible?

Every dream begins with a plan. Students will gain tools to breakdown the cost of achieving their goals and dreams into real, usable numbers and learn ways to accomplish their goals.

October 12, 4-5pm: Session 2: How To Make Your Money Work For YOU?

Students investigate the importance of budgeting and staying within a budget. They review characteristics of a healthy relationship and explore how shared budgeting creates opportunities to talk about equality, independence, and respect.

October 19, 4-5pm: Session 3: Like A GIRL Boss

Students develop a mindset that enables opportunity identification, innovation, value creation, and problem-solving. They learn the principles, strategies, and skills through the experiences of others and apply them to their own lives.

October 26, 4-5pm: Session 4: Life Skills 101

Students build a foundation upon which they can make intelligent financial decisions that last a lifetime, including decisions related to income, expenses, savings, credit, taxes and more.

November 1, 4-5pm: Session 5: College Readiness (Making The Most Of Your College Experience)

Students are equipped with the tools and skills to investigate the path needed to find a fulfilling, rewarding career. Students take a dive into key workplace topics such as: 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity and begin to explore their personal work priorities, desired industries, etc.

November 9, 4-5pm: Session 6: Personal Brand, Telling Your Story

Students will learn to market themselves by building their own personal brand, determining how they want to represent themselves through resumes, cover letters, interviews, and digital profiles.

November 16, 4-5pm: Session 7: Smashing The Glass Ceiling

You will learn that there are ways to build your confidence to overcome, overlook, and change the way you handle invisible barriers.
